JSPP Award |

| The JSPP Award will be awarded to no more than one candidate
(self-nominated or nominated by a JSPP councilor) selected by the JSPP
Awards Committee and approved by the JSPP Council. Members both inside
and outside of Japan who fulfill the eligibility requirements for the
JSPP Award may apply for the award by following the instructions below.

2. Application Instructions a. Self-nomination Submit 12 copies of the documents listed below to the JSPP Award Section, Shimotachiuri, Ogawa-Higashi, Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto 602-8048, Japan. (Applications must be received by Thursday September 20, 2007) Applicants may request to have their application materials returned to them. Materials should be submitted on A4-size paper with margins of 2 cm or more.
b. Nomination by a JSPP Counsilor JSPP councilors may nominate candidates for the JSSP Award. To nominate a candidate, submit a letter of recommendation to the JSPP headquarters by Friday August 31, 2007 after obtaining permission from the nominee to do so. Based on the letter of recommendation, the JSPP will advise the nominated individual to apply for the award. The letter of recommendation should include (i) the nominee's name (also in English, if applicable), title, and contact information, (ii) the name, title, and contact information of the person making the nomination, (iii) a brief explanation of why you are nominating the candidate, and (iv) the date of the nomination. |
